Edsberg's Biography
Soren Edsberg (born Søren Edsberg, ) was a Danish-born American painter. His work has been highly praised by Alexandre Cirici Pellicer. He was the son of Knud Edsberg who was also a painter. First Knud and then Soren joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Many of Edsberg's works are of farm animals. He had a great love of the Arts, science, mathematics, physics and history. Søren EDSBERG (?) Born October 10, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Edsberg had his debut exhibition in at The Association for National art, Charlottenborg, Copenhagen. During the 60s, 70s, and 80s, Edsberg has held exhibitions in his homeland Denmark, throughout Scandinavia, Europe, U.S.A., Mexico, Japan and Australia. The brown leaves one Autumn day in the Deerpark. Its dynamism in spite of its deeply geometric features, it reflects in our opinion the will of expressing at the same time a spiritual strain and the most expositive clearness. He died of age-related complications on July 15, in Holmstrup, Denmark. After years of hard, arduous work and study he finished his education and returned to Tuxen only to find his health failing and to learn that he was no longer able to take on students. Soren was born October 10th, in Copenhagen, Denmark to parents Knud and Kirsten Edsberg. He spent his youth enjoying the outdoors and watching his father cultivate a successful career of painting. Soren learned from his father and began cultivating his own success creating artwork that would make him known to the world. As his faith stayed with him until his death, so did his love for painting.
